Reiki music is the music that is played whilst performing Reiki healing, meditation, relaxation or attunement. Unlike mantras and chants, there are no specific pieces of music that are ‘Reiki Music’. Any relaxing, steady, and mood enhancing music can be used in Reiki healing. What is imperative is that Reiki music must be played during any healing session. The music is a key factor in the success and level of achievement in any Reiki healing session.

It is important that the music be peaceful, tranquil and calming for the listener. Reiki music should be consistent, it should not change pitch or volume suddenly or contain any loud vocals. It should not be played loudly but softly and quietly.

Reiki music has an extraordinarily relaxing effect and should create a soothing but softly stimulating g sensation in the listener. This kind of music has a very calming effect on the mind so is excellent for anyone who may be anxious or suffer from panic attacks or other heath problems of a nervous nature.

Because of it’s calming nature it can be used by anyone who wishes to relax, not just within the confines of a Reiki treatment. In fact it is highly beneficial to listen to Reiki music both before, after or between treatments. This will increase the effectiveness of actual Reiki healing sessions.
